Master Ekrami, the president of Iran Shitokai Karatedo Association, started his learning in Kanzen Ryu style which was the first and the only official style in Iran in late 1960s.
1980s, a great change and evolutions occurred in the management of Karatedo in Iran and after that in the mid of 1990 with the support of Iran Karatedo Federation, some of the masters in order to standardizing and harmonizing the techniques and katas of this style, started their primary practises in the style of Shito Ryu “ShitoKai” under direct supervision of Sensei Manzo Iwata, the president of World Shitoryu Karatedo Federation, and Sensei Yamasaki, the renowned instructor of World Shitoryu Karatedo Federation in Japan.
Having learnt all the necessary skills from Japan Shitoryu Karatedo Federation, they returned back to country and Iran Shitokai Karatedo Association began its official activity in the late 1990.
